1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://snapconvrt.com (the “Site”) operated by snapconvrt (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Site.

2. The service and use license

snapconvrt converts image files between supported formats (such as HEIC, WebP, PNG, and JPEG) without requiring an account. Permission is granted to use the Site for your own image-conversion needs. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Use the materials for any purpose that breaches these Terms
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on the Site
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Copy, mirror, scrape, or resell the Site or its software

3. No accounts; free conversions, credits, and payments

The Site does not use accounts. You do not create a username or password, and we do not ask for your name or email to convert images.

• Free quota. We offer a limited number of free conversions per day (currently one single-file conversion per day), enforced per anonymous device. We may change or remove the free quota at any time.
• Paid credits. Additional or batch conversions require credits, sold as one-time bundles. Pricing is shown before purchase.
• Payment processing. Purchases are processed by Polar, our payment provider and merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to Polar’s terms. Taxes may be added as required by law.
• Credits are tied to your anonymous session and expire with it. Because we do not use accounts, credits are short-lived by design and are consumed or expire when your session ends.

4. Prohibited uses

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Site:

• In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate snapconvrt or any other person or entity
• In any way that infringes upon the rights of others, or is illegal, threatening, fraudulent, or harmful
• To upload or convert content that is unlawful, including child sexual abuse material
• To upload malware or attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the Site, or to circumvent limits or rate controls
• To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Site

We may suspend or block access to protect the Site and our users.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality — including its software, design, logos, and trademarks — are owned by snapconvrt and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the images and other content you submit (“Content”). By submitting Content, you grant us only a limited, temporary license to store and process your images for the sole purpose of performing the conversion you request; this license ends when your images are deleted.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit the Content
• The Content does not violate the privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights of any person

We have the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

7. Links to other websites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by snapconvrt. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that snapconvrt shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such content.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. SNAPCONVRT MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that conversions will meet your expectations. Always keep your own copies of original files; we are not a backup service and delete your uploads automatically.

9. Limitation of liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL SNAPCONVRT, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SITE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless snapconvrt and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Site immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms or to protect the Site. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your place of residence.

13. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
